A stepped-wedge cluster randomised trial to evaluate the impact of a digital antimicrobial stewardship smartphone application

In this study the impact of an antimicrobial stewardship smartphone application on antimicrobial prescribing by physicians in a hospital was evaluated. The data focuses on outcome on the patient level such as date of admission and discharge, antimicrobial(s) prescribed, date and time of prescription, route of prescription, if the prescribed antimicrobial was in accordance with local guidelines.
