In recent years nanogels show great potential as drug delivery systems. Especially dermal drug administration which is non-invasive, helps to avoid the first-pass effect with better patient compliance and allows continuous drug realise gain a lot of attention. Here we want to study the interactions between charged, pH and thermo-responsive nanogels with model lipid membranes mimicking skin. Those studies not only will allow better understanding the nanoparticle lipid membrane transport mechanism but as well will help in risk assessment connected with nanoparticle exposure.
