Charged nanogels interactions with model lipid membranes

DOI

In recent years nanogels show great potential as drug delivery systems. Especially dermal drug administration which is non-invasive, helps to avoid the first-pass effect with better patient compliance and allows continuous drug realise gain a lot of attention. Here we want to study the interactions between charged, pH and thermo-responsive nanogels with model lipid membranes mimicking skin. Those studies not only will allow better understanding the nanoparticle – lipid membrane transport mechanism but as well will help in risk assessment connected with nanoparticle exposure.
