Raziskava o stališčih poslancev o delovanju Državnega zbora RS daje vpogled v stališča poslancev glede nekaterih temeljnih elementov parlamentarizma v sodobnih liberalnih demokracijah. Na ta način se podrobneje opazuje percepcijo predstavništva interesov, ki predstavlja eno od temeljnih komponent poslanskega mandata, prav tako pa se opazuje celoten ustroj delovanja parlamenta z delovanjem delovnih teles na čelu. Raziskava postavlja v središče tudi medinstitucionalno ravnotežje ter odnose Državnega zbora z nekaterimi temeljnimi institucijami slovenskega političnega sistema, prav tako pa se osredotoča na notranjo dinamiko poslanskega združevanja in sodelovanja ter infrastrukturne značilnosti poslanskega dela. Raziskava tudi obravnava interakcijo poslancev z različnimi družbenimi skupinami ter političnimi akterji. Raziskava še posebej ugotavlja, kako poslanci Državnega zbora ocenjujejo delovanje te institucije v danem mandatu, s poudarkom na uveljavitvi novega poslovnika, prav tako pa se osredotoča na vprašanje, kako poslanci vidijo vlogo in pogoje delovanja Državnega zbora v pogojih članstva Slovenije v EU, zlasti glede na zahtevnost delovanja nacionalnega parlamenta.
The survey reveals deputies’ views on the functioning of the National Assembly and gives insight into the views of deputies on some fundamental elements of parliamentarism in modern liberal democracies. In this way, the perception of representation’s interests, which is one of the fundamental components of a parliamentary mandate, is in detail observed. The entire structure of the functioning of Parliament with activity of working groups at the forefront is observed as well. In the center of research are inter-institutional balance and the National Assembly’s relationships with some basic institutions of the Slovenian political system, but research also focuses on the internal dynamics of members of Parliament’s grouping and cooperation, and infrastructures of parliamentary work characteristics. The survey also investigates the interaction of members of Parliament with different social groups and political actors. The research in examines how members of the National Assembly assess the functioning of thiese institutions in a given mandate, with an emphasis on implementation of new standing orders and also focuses on the question of how members see the role and operating conditions of the National Assembly in terms of Slovenia's EU membership, especially regarding to the complexity of the national parliament's efficiency.
