Bacillus subtilis sp. strain UAMC isolated from polluted agricultural soil

In the present study, the capacity of the pure strain B. subtilis sp. strain UAMC, a microorganism isolated from a horticultural soil with a history of pesticide use, to mineralize endosulfan (biotransform it to CO2 and water) was evaluated, using it in tests that contained said compound as the only carbon source.
