Temperature on rocky slopes of the Skrajna Turnia Mt. (Tatra Mountains), 2010-2011

This dataset contains data on the surface temperature of rocky slopes, from June 2010 to February 2011. The temperature was measured on north-facing slopes in the Tatra Mountains, at two study sites located at vertical distance of about 80 metres. The aim of the study was to recognize the vertical differentiation of temperature of rocky slopes in the alpine belts of the Tatra Mountains. The temperature was measured every hour by thermistors placed on the surface of the rock. Data loggers with thermistor sensors were used.
