MuSR study on the duality of itinerant and localized magnetism in UIr

DOI

The main purpose of this investigation is to discern the localized and itinerant contributions in the ferromagnertic superconductor UIr.Field dependent MuSR measurments up to 4500 mT had to be performed just above the ferromagnetic ordering temperature of 45 K, where the MuSR signal is mostly enhanced. It can be expected that both signals due to the localized and the itinerant moment can be observed.
