Bacillus subtilis is a very important microorganism in Korean traditional fermented foods and is also frequently isolated from soybean fermented foods. Bacillus subtilis FA111 is a microorganism isolated from jeotgal, a salted fermented seafood product, and was analyzed for comparison with Bacillus derived from soybean fermented foods in the future.
