Bacillus subtilis strain:M9 Genome sequencing and assembly

Bacillus subtilis is an industrially important bacteria that are used for the large-scale production of enzymes and peptide antibiotic. B. subtilis M9 is a superior producer of improved serine alkaline protease which is a mutant strain of B. subtilis MZK05. B.subtilis M9 is also an efficient producer of keratinase, a-amylase and bacteriocins.
