Bacillus subtilis strain:A1 Genome sequencing and assembly

Availability of food cannot be over emphasized especially with the continuous depletion of agricultural lands to modern developments and natural disasters. The available lands for farming need to be maximized and well supplemented to produce enough food for the growing population. The aim of this study is to identify plant growth promoting bacteria with multiple traits for improvement . This will alleviate or reduce the use of chemical fertilizers thereby improving environmental and human health as well as increasing food availability.
