This study focuses on identifying and evaluating the microbiome of the unexplored mangrove ecosystem from the Karankadu, Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, India. The metagenomic analysis was performed using the Illumina Mi-Seq platform targeting the V3-V4 region, producing 300 x 2 base pairs paired-end reads.
