This study focuses on identifying and evaluating the microbiome of the unexplored Island ecosystem from the Shingle Island, Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, India. The metagenomic analysis was performed using the Illumina Mi-Seq platform targeting the V3-V4 region, producing 300 x 2 base pairs paired-end reads.
