Impact of Phaeobacter inhibens wildtype and mutants on bacterial communities associated with Thalassiosira rotula

In this project, we aimed at investigating the impact of Phaeobacter inhibens wildtype and two mutants with mutations in the TDA and AHL regulator protein, respectively, on bacterial communities associated with Thalassiosira rotula. Community structures were assessed by Pyrotag sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene.
