The database was generated within the “FEMIber” project, which uses digital humanities methods to study Spanish and Portuguese medieval historiography from a gender perspective. The research has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 101064789.
The database which contains two files (tables named People and Cases) provides structured information on every woman mentioned in the anonymous Crónica de Castilla (ca. 1300, Castile-León). It is a research and educational tool aimed at anyone interested in the topic.
