Magnetic ordering in CaFe3O5 and CaFe5O7

DOI

This proposal is to explore the evolution of magnetic ordering in two members of the homologous series CaFe2O4(FeO)n with n = 1, & 3, and to correlation the behaviour of the magnetism with crystal structures and the possibility of charge ordering. This is a topical area related to the current interest in magnetite and related compounds.
