The GP Patient Survey is a large-scale postal survey run by Ipsos MORI on behalf of NHS England. This year the survey received responses from around 850,000 adults in England. It looks at patient experiences of their GP practice and other local NHS services. The results from the latest publication of the survey were released on 8 July 2021. The GP Patient Survey is a large postal survey sent to around c.2.33 million adults each year. Until July 2016, data was collected in waves; there were between two and four waves a year, depending on the fieldwork period. From this point, the data has been collected annually, between January and March, with publication in summer.
