Lingcod (Ophiodon elongatus) population genomics

The objective of this study was to evaluate population genetic stock structure for lingcod (Ophiodon elongatus), collecting samples from a broad, coast-wide distribution spanning Baja, Mexico to Gulf of Alaska. We used restriction site associated DNA sequencing (RADseq) to generate thousands of polymorphic loci that sample widely throughout the genome, increasing our power to detect population structure and possibly adaptive loci.
