This dataset contains all specifications to manufacture and assemble a new benchmark structure for the experimental analysis of nonlinear vibrations. The setup includes a support structure, a thin panel and two blades. The blades are used to clamp the panel at the left and right side to the support. Due to a small inclination of the relevant surfaces of the support, the panel is slightly curved in the assembled state. This curvature and the clamped-clamped boundary situation give raise to a pronounced softening-hardening behavior (considering the dependency of the panels natural frequency on the vibration level). Moreover, a friction nonlinearity is expected due to the bolted joints used to clamp the panel. Here we provide all technical drawings, 3D CAD files in *-stp.format, material specifications and a detailed documentation needed to manufacture and assemble the benchmark in a reproducible manner.
