Comparative analysis of gene expression in coral Acropora tenuis exposed to a UV filter or heat stress

RNA-seq was performed to reveal differences in coral responses to UV filter and heat stress. Fragments of adult stony coral Acropora tenuis were exposed to four concentrations of benzophenone-3 (BP-3) ranged from 0.38 to 2.7 mg/L or heat stress (31°C) for 96 h. RNA was extracted from each fragment (n = 6) and RNA-seq was performed on the DNBSEQ-G400 platform (2 � 200-bp).
