The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about accommodation available to tourists in Morecambe in premises providing meals, to study the workforce operating this accommodation, to discover sources of trade information and food supplies, and to investigate the future plans of the owners/managers of the accommodation.

Number of workers receiving training. Where supplies of certain named products were bought, i.e. product, name of supplier, town, amount, method of payment. Background Variables Age, sex, accommodation type, operation of premises (owner, tenant, manager), ownership (private or company), age of premises, previous uses.
