Hydrochemical analysis of Cyclone Mekunu rainfall samples in 2018, Southern Oman


Cyclone Mekunu precipitation has been collected at three stations in southern Oman.

For electrical conductivity (EC) measurements, a handheld unit was used (Multi 3430 by WTW) and major ion concentrations were analyzed by ion chromatography (882 Compact IC plus by Metrohm) with a precision higher than ± 3 %.
