Microbiome dynamics make the coral Tubastrea aurea resilient to extreme environmental stressors

This study mainly focuses on understanding how bacterial community associated with the azooxanthellate coral Tubastraea aurea varies under different environmental conditions using third-generation sequencing technology. As T.aurea is a globally invasive species, it is very much important to understand how their microbiota contribute to the host resilience along with the coral's physiological strategies in range expansion, dispersion and invasiveness in the future climate change scenario.
