We present INP measurement taken close to Punta Arenas, Chile, at the southernmost tip of South America from May 2019 to February 2020, during the Dynamics, Aerosol, Clouds, and Precipitation in the Pristine Environment of the Southern Ocean (DACAPO-PESO) campaign.A mountain station was located at the top of Cerro Mirador (622 m a.s.l., 53.16 S, 71.05 W), about 8 km west of the city of Punta Arenas in southern Chile. This location at the southern tip of South America is close to the open ocean. At Cerro Mirador, aerosols were collected on 800 nm pore size polycarbonate filters (Nuclepore Track-Etch Membrane, Whatman) with ~7-day or ~14-day time resolution and a flow rate of ~8.66 L/min from 8 May 2019 to 19 February 2020. Blind filters were obtained by inserting the filters into the sampler for a period of 7 or 14 days without loading them. Moreover, measurements of meteorological parameters including temperature, wind direction, wind speed and relative humidity, cloud coverage, and cloud height, were collected at the Punta Arenas Airport (53.01 S, 70.85 W) from SYNOP (surface synoptic observations).
