We suggest to investigate high quality U(Ru0.92Rh0.08)2Si2 single crystal in fields up to 25 T. This system does not exhibit a long-range magnetic order down to at least 0.3 K but shows at 2 K for B//c (easy axis) metamagnetic transitions (MTs) at Bc1 = 21.9 and Bc2 = 38 T. The magnetization between Bc1 and Bc2 attains a one-third of the saturated value. Previous neutron experiments in pulse fields on a 4% doped system suggest that the propagation vector of this phase is q’=(2/3,0,0). It is suggested that it is related to an inelastic signal found around q’’=(1.4,0,0). There are doubts about the correctness of this determination. We suggest therefore a use of DC fields. We would collect data at the basis temperature and at 20 K, where the “1/3” phase does not exist. The main objective is to determine the field-induced magnetic structure, in particular its propagation vector, the behavior of the two possible magnetic domains and to compare magnetization processes at 2 and 20 K.
