Porites australiensis transcriptome assembly

A massive scleractinian coral, Porites are common and important reef builder in Indo-Pacific and robust to thermal stress than other corals such as genus Acropora. They have been used for investigations of stress-response, ocean acidification and past environmental changes. To address the lack of molecular data for Porites corals, we conducted transcriptome sequencing of Porites australiensis using Illumina Hiseq2000 platform and developed transcriptome database
