High Energy Magnetic Excitations in Fe(Se,Te)

DOI

In our recent experiments on MERLIN we have established that the spin excitations in Fe(Se,Te) emanating from incommensurate positions near (0.5 0.5 0) extends at least to 250 meV. In order to find whether these excitations disperse to the zone boundary or terminate at a Stoner continuum we propose to measure two single crystal samples of the pseudo binary series Fe(Te,Se) to establish dispersion relations above 250meV.
