ADCP current measurements over bottom 150-200 during RV SONNE cruise SO260/2

DOI

The aim of this study is to establish a clearer link between contourite features and the oceanographic processes that form them. We measured vessel-mounted Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (VM-ADCP), Parasound, multi-channel seismic reflection profiles and the grain-size of surface sediment samples from off northern Argentina and Uruguay (SW Atlantic Ocean). The data was collected during R/V SONNE cruise SO260 in 2018, R/V Meteor cruise M78/3 in 2009 and R/V Meteor cruise M49/2 in 2001.
