Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner.To record the rents prevailing in mid-October each year for farms in England and Wales. This Enquiry was originated, and has continued, with the encouragement of the County Landowners' Association and the National Farmers' Union. It is dependent on the voluntary co-operation of about 650 landlords and agents who make returns in respect of over 20,000 farms.
