Genome and RNA sequencing of sea snakes

Sea snakes are a useful study system for exploring evolution, specifically evolution relating to the terrestrial to marine transition. While reference genomes are becoming more common for these snakes, few studies have generated short-read WGS and RNA-seq data for conducting demographic, population genetic and gene expression based studies. This BioProject contains whole genome sequence data for a multitude of sea snakes, in addition to RNA-seq for a select few species.
