Data are for Lupinus bicolor grown in a dry-down drought experiment at UC Santa Barbara. Plants were grown in dry-down and well-watered conditions in order to study potential maternal effects. Data collected include seed production, vegetative and lifespan traits. The seeds were collected by hand between 2016-12-01 and 2017-02-28 near UC Santa Barbara Greenhouses. The greenhouse had climate controlled conditions with an average temperature of 21.1°C – 22.2°C. To estimate above ground volume, the plant height and the largest possible perpendicular cross-widths of the plant was measured and then multiplied the height x width x length.
