Agulhas Plateau Composite Pleistocene grain size and stable isotope measurements

DOI

Reconstructions of near-bottom flow speed and vertical stable carbon isotope gradient since 1.9 myr ago from the Agulhas Plateau Composite deep sea sediment core site. Measurements of Sortable Silt mean grain size (10-63 µm, CaCO3 and opal removed) made with a Beckman-Coulter Mastersizer 4e Coulter Counter at Cardiff University. Stable isotopes (18O and 13C measured on planktic foraminifera species G. truncatulinoides (n = 3 to 15 shells per sample). Isotope measurements are paired with previously published benthic d18O and d13C data from the sample site.
