Chromosome-level assembly of Lepeophtheirus salmonis genome

The genome was assembled into 154 contigs with a total length of 632.5 Mb and a contig N50 length of 5.1 Mb. After chromosome-level scaffolding, 15 chromosomes with a total length of 609.3 Mb were constructed. Annotation of the Lepeophtheirus salmonis genome assembly identified a total of only 15,044 genes (16,973 transcripts).
