Marker frequency analysis of Vibrio cholerae s10-spc-alpha movants in fast growing conditions.

Different V. cholerae strains where the s10-spc-alpha (S10) locus was relocated to different regions of the genome and displaying different growth phenotypes, were fully sequenced in exponential phase to eplore putative differences in Marker Frequency Analysis (MFA) pattern. The parental strain and the most affected movants, S10Tnp-1120 and S10TnpC2+479, were also studied in hyperosmotic conditions (NaCl 20 gr/L).
