Transposition of Tn6283-like integrative elements in proteobacteria

Tn6283-like integrative elements have been suggested to play a role in the spread of antibiotic resistance in marine environment. However, relationship between their transposition activity and host was not fully understood. Here we aim to understand the range of hosts where Tn6283-like elements are active by conducting PCR-detection of the circular form of the integrative elements and its sequencing.
