The datasets show surface velocities at Wilkins Ice Shelf, Antarctic Peninsula, derived from SAR intensity tracking. We used ALOS PALSAR FBS data between September and December 2008. The dataset contains for each flight path the displacements in m/day in azimuth and range direction. A mosaic shows the displacement magnitude combined for the flight paths. However, issues in overlapping areas are visible due to slightly different acquisition dates. The dataset further contains the ice flow directions in respect to north.Dataset is part of the DFG SPP Project BR2105/8-1
