This dataset contains supplementary material to "Fine micro- and nanoplastics concentrations in particulate matter samples from the high alpine site Sonnblick, Austria" (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.chemosphere.2024.141410). It includes results of triplicate analyses of plastics in particulate matter samples as well as data to reproduce Figure 1 (concentration of plastics on weekly filters) and Figure 2 (average contribution of main plastic types to plastics mass). Particulate matter samples of two size fractions were analysed via TD-PTR-MS and six types of plastics (PET, PE, PP/PPC, PS, PVC, Tire wear) were determined using a fingerprinting algorithm.
