Microbial community structures of an Antarctic high salinity lake.

The objective of this project was to reveal the bacterial and eukaryotic community structures of a high salinity lake in Antarctica, and to gain new insight into bacteria and eukaryotes inhabiting Antarctic lakes. Next-generation sequencing analysis was performed on the environmental sample, and community structure analysis was conducted to reveal the microorganisms that inhabit a high salinity Antarctic lake.
