Der ifo Investitionstest im Handelsgewerbe wird seit 2000 einmal jährlich im Mai als qualitative Sonderfrage im Rahmen des Konjunkturtests durchgeführt. Dabei werden die Unternehmen nach ihren Investitionsplänen – unterteilt nach Bauten und Ausrüstungsgütern – sowie nach ihren Umsatzerwartungen und Personalplanungen für das laufende Jahr gefragt.

The Ifo Investment Survey for Trade has been conducted annually in May since 2000 as a qualitative survey in the framework of Ifo’s Business Survey. Firms are asked to provide feedback about their investment plans - subdivided into construction and equipment – as well as their revenue expectations and personnel plans for the ongoing year.
