Coral microbial communities in experimental coral reef mesocosms

The study explores the impact of anthropogenic ocean warming and acidification on intact coral reef assemblages using large-scale, replicated mesocosms that simulate future conditions under natural levels of seasonal variability. 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing was used to profile the microbial communities associated with the sediments.
