µSR Study of Non-Centrosymmetric Superconductor Re3Ta

DOI

We propose to investigate the detailed superconducting properties of the superconducting compound Re3Ta with non-centrosymmetric α-Mn structure. Due to non-centrosymmetric crystal structure, there is a possibility of the time reversal symmetry breaking in the superconducting state. μSR is the ideal tool to investigate this type of phenomenon. We therefore request 4 days on the MUSR spectrometer.
