Solid state repolarisation measurements of [Fe2(µ-pdt)(CO)4(PMe3)2] (RB 1010177) showed a weak recovery at ca.15G, a strong recovery at ca.100G and what was thought to be a weak ALC resonance at ca.1200G. During our recent experiment (RB1310434) we were able to measure a saturated solution of [Fe2(µ-pdt)(CO)4(PMe3)2]. The results suggested that the dominant recovery was shifted to ca.130G, indicating a substantial shift in the hfcc when the complex is solvated. Additionally, while the feature at ca.1000G remained, the ca.15G recovery was absent in the solution phase. This casts doubt on the original assignment of the ca.1000G feature. It seems more likely a signature of muonium, indicating that addition is a relatively slow process in solution. We would like to investigate these phenomena by measuring repolarisations as a function of concentration and temperature using EMU.
