Pyrosequencing of algal and bacterial communities in aquatic habitats and An. gamabie larval gut contents in western Kenya. <p> This project examined microbial communities in aquatic habitats and in larval mosquito gut contents to determine the effect of canopy coverage on microbial community composition and the downstream effects on malaria vector populations in western Kenya.
