The aim of this survey was to investigate the labour market experiences of unemployed professionals and executives; to describe those who became unemployed and the circumstances surrounding their departure from their previous jobs; to examine their job seeking activities and experiences; to compare their success in finding new jobs, and to examine the role of Professional and Executive Recruitment (PER) in the context of the general picture.
