Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry: dilution factor = 25; Matrix = 0.5M HNO3. Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry: dilution factor = 10; Matrix = 0.5M HNO3. Preconcentration with ion exchange resin for Y and REE, followed by ICP-MS measurement (Bau and Dulski, 1996).
