The self-assembly behavior of surfactant in alcohol/water co-solvent is quite different from aqueous solution, and has got less attention. Nevertheless, these systems have great potential for a wide range of applications, such as aircraft anti-icing fluid and oil field fracturing fluid in low temperature zone. To deeply understand the self-assembly behavior of surfactant in alcohol/water co-solvent and optimize the conditions for applications, we propose to use SANS to study the morphology and aggregation structures of the erucyl dimethyl amidopropyl betaine in different alcohol/water systems at low temperature.
