Evaluating Illumina-, Nanopore-, and PacBio-based genome assembly strategies with the bald notothen, Trematomus borchgrevinki

We assembled genome of T. borchgrevinki using three different de novo genome assembly strategies: a) short-read only, b) short- and long-read hybrid, and c) long-read only. We assessed the quality problems that we encountered and developed strategies to address the error models.
