RNA-seq data of A. clarkii, A. percula and C. viridis

This project contains RNA-seq data from two species of the clownfish genus (Amphiprion) - A. clarkii and A. percula - as well as from one species of the sister taxon - Chromis Viridis. This data was used to create a transcriptome assembly for each species using FRAMA (Bens et al. 2016, doi: 10.1186/s12864-015-2349-8). These assemblies as well as public data from other clownfishes (A. ocellaris, A. bicinctus, A. sebae) and further outgroup species were used to search for positively selected genes on the last common ancestor of the clownfishes using PosiGene (Sahm et al. 2017, doi: 10.1093/nar/gkx179).
