Effect of common aquaculture practices on the external microbiome of common snook

This study investigated the effects of copper sulfate treatment and captive rearing of adult common broodstock on the external microbiome of the fish. Captively-held fish were sampled immediately following one month copper sulfate exposure, two weeks following exposure, and 2 years following exposure. These individuals were compared to wild-caught individuals.
