Comparative expression in different tissues and developmental stages during the embryogenesis of Sepia officinalis

Our work focuses on the development of sense organs in Cephalopods with a highlight on photosensitivity. The aim of this project is to build a transcriptomic tool in order to look at the development of the cuttlefish Sepia officinalis during late embryogenesis. This would allow comparative studies of gene expression in three different stages (stage 24, 25and 30) in tissues with (photo)sensitive properties such as the skin, the eyes, and the central nervous system.
