Replication Data for: Data-driven transfer functions from differential magnetometer measurements to enhance GIC model validation capability: A case study in the Spanish power grid

Plain text files with magnetometer data (ASCII format) to monitor Geomagnetically Induced Currents (GIC) flowing in power transmission lines. Data from the magnetometer under transmission line contains GIC magnetic signal + environment magnetic field; data from reference magnetometer (hundreds of meters from the transmission line) contains only environment magnetic field. Subtraction allows isolating GIC signal.

Data files with magnetic data from Differential Magnetometer Method (DMM) sites to monitor Geomagnetically Induced Currents (GIC) flowing in power transmission lines. 8 first-level sub-folders, each corresponding to a DMM site represented by a 3-letter code. 2 second-level sub-folders corresponding to the two magnetometers per site: one under power line (LIN); another acting as reference (REF).
