Large scale variability in the Spring Peeper (Pseudacris crucifer) skin microbiome

We characterized variation in the skin bacterial communities of spring peepers (Pseudacris crucifer) and water and substrate of their breeding habitat from nine ponds sampled across the state of Virginia, USA. We also investigated different factors to determine which best explained variation in bacterial community structure among hosts and among populations of hosts.
